Keuka Lake Association

― A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT ―

KEUKA LAKE is so much more than pristine water.  It is the vineyards that surround it, the streams that flow into it, the fish and wildlife that depend on it and the people who enjoy it.  Less tangibly, but more profoundly, it is the source of so many fun memories across multiple generations.

THE KEUKA LAKE ASSOCIATION is a dedicated group of people who take the lead in preserving and protecting Keuka Lake.  They help keep it clean, safe, and balanced against forces of nature such as invasive species or an abrupt change in water level.

THE KLA BOARD and numerous volunteers devote countless hours and cooperate with multiple organizations across the watershed and beyond.  Committees within the Board are tasked to monitor the lake level, and process water samples to check for key nutrients and bacteria.  Other teams seek to educate residents and visitors on local laws and good boating practices.  To put it briefly, the Board works to maintain and improve what we all enjoy and sometimes take for granted.

OUR MEMBERS are critical to this mission with their financial support and the time they devote as volunteers.  We cannot do this important work without their help.  If you are reading this as a member, we thank you and ask that you continue your support and consider increasing your membership level.  If you are not a member, please consider taking action to join us today using the “Become a Member” link on this page.  Whether you work, farm, fish, boat, swim, visit wineries, waterski, hike, cycle, sightsee or recreate in some other way that connects you to Keuka Lake, we welcome you to the Keuka Lake Association.
